Hemil Rodríguez is an Associate Lawyer of the firm and in the last 5 years, his practice has been dedicated to overseeing prosecution matters regarding patents, utility models, and industrial designs in both the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean region. He is also involved in patent enforcement procedures before administrative bodies and advising and assisting clients in relation to oppositions, cancelation, and Office actions.

Furthermore, his practice also involves Data Protection; and Entertainment Law focused on the Dominican Film Industry Law, related to copyright clearance and application of tax incentives for movie filming in the Dominican Republic.

He graduated from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) of Santiago, Dominican Republic in 2014, obtaining his law degree (LL.B./J.D.). In 2015, he obtained an LL.M. in ICT Law, Social Networks, and Intellectual Property from ESADE University in Barcelona, Spain. LL.M. Candidate (Master of Laws) at Florida International University College of Law (FIU Law).

Hemil is fluent in English and Spanish languages.
